Welcome to Single Particle Imaging and Spectroscopy Group

The Chang lab at UMASS Dartmouth aims to develop spectroscopic techniques to understand the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials. Particularly, we are interested in the electrocatalysis and photocatalysis of metallic nanostructures and 2D materials. We utilize state-of-art single particle spectroscopy and microscopy combined with high-resolution electron microscopy to understand the structural-function relationship of these materials. If you are interested in our research, please email Dr. Chang at wchang2@umassd.edu or stop by SENG 317 for a discussion. You will learn the fundamental principles of advanced optical microscopy, catalysis, and nanomaterials.
